Repairs

Where is Computer Club based?

Computer Club is at Unit 26A, Vernon Mill, Mersey Street, Stockport SK1 2HX. We're open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We're closed on Saturday and Sunday.

How quickly can you repair my laptop or PC?

Many repairs are finished within 24 to 48 hours, some on the same day. We diagnose the fault first and give you a clear quote before any work goes ahead.

What devices do you repair?

We repair laptops, desktop PCs, Macs, tablets, phones and printers. That includes screen and battery replacements, upgrades, liquid damage, virus removal and board-level motherboard repairs.

Do you repair devices from outside Stockport?

Yes. We regularly help customers in Cheadle, Bramhall, Hazel Grove, Didsbury, Sale, Altrincham and Manchester city centre. We also offer post-in repairs across the UK.

How do I get a repair quote?

Can you recover data from a broken laptop or hard drive?

Often, yes. We recover data from laptops and PCs that won't start, from failed or corrupted hard drives and SSDs, and from devices damaged by drops or liquid. We look at the device first and tell you what can realistically be recovered. More about data recovery.

Refurbished laptops and PCs

Do your refurbished laptops come with a warranty?

Yes. Every refurbished laptop, PC and workstation comes with a 12-month in-house warranty. This is on top of your legal rights as a consumer. See our warranty.

How do you refurbish your laptops?

Every device is fully tested in our Stockport workshop. Old data is wiped securely and the device is graded honestly before it's sold. See our refurbishment process.

Do you supply laptops in bulk to businesses and schools?

Yes. We supply new and refurbished laptops, desktops and monitors to businesses, schools and charities across the UK. We also offer fully managed rental. Ask us for a quote.

Do you offer trade or wholesale accounts?

Yes. Once we've verified your trade account, you get 15% off every order on our website. Apply for a trade account.

Business IT support

Do you provide IT support for businesses in Stockport and Manchester?

Yes. We support businesses, schools and charities across Stockport and Greater Manchester. That covers repairs, upgrades, Microsoft 365, networks, backups and monthly support plans. More about business IT services.

IT recycling and data destruction

Do you collect old IT equipment from businesses?

Yes. We collect laptops, desktops, servers, monitors and other IT equipment from your site. You can also drop it off at our Stockport unit. Where kit still has value, we can buy it back.

Is your IT recycling legal and compliant?

Yes. Computer Club Limited is a registered upper tier waste carrier, broker and dealer (registration CBDU607870). We handle equipment in line with UK WEEE regulations.

Do I get proof that my data has been destroyed?

Yes. Every job comes with a certificate of data destruction listing the drives we've processed. It gives your organisation a record for GDPR. More about IT recycling and data destruction.
